WLPGA Participates in Indonesian Petroleum Association (IPA) Convention

David Tyler and Rita Pecilunas joined World LP Gas Forum platinum sponsor Pertamina in Jakarta for the 36th IPA Convention and Exhibition.

The event theme, "Working Together To Meet Indonesia's Energy Needs," underscored the IPA's objective to fully realize Indonesia's hydrocarbon potential for the benefit of Indonesia and its people.

The WLPGA team shared space in Pertamina's large exhibit to showcase the Balinese World Forum to take place 11-13 September, 2012. There was a great deal of interest in the LP Gas market and the upcoming global event in Bali, especially due to the recent confirmation of participation of the Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

David Tyler had separate meetings with representatives from Chevron, Santos, ConocoPhillips, Hass, PetroChina and other major upstream players from the LP Gas industry and received some positive feedback about the Bali event.

IPA President and Pertamina's Director of Marketing & Trading, Pak Hunung Budya, met with the WLPGA team and noted that he was certain that the event would sell out and was very pleased that Indonesia was the host country for the 25th anniversary of the World Forum.
