World LPG Association (WLPGA) announces new Board Members

The WLPGA is delighted to announce the appointment of two key new Board Members. These appointments were ratified during the WLPGA’s AGM held 25th November 2020. The association’s Board of Directors comprises leading industry players around the world and the Board is also representative of the business activities and geographic diversity of WLPGA members. The Board has an overall governance role for the association as defined under French law.

Mr. Shrikant Madhav Vaidya, Chairman, Indian Oil Corporation, is appointed WLPGA First Vice-President, replacing Mr Sanjiv Singh who has retired from his position of Chairman of Indian Oil Corporation. The second appointment is Ms Molly Morris, Senior Vice President for Crude, Products and Liquids in Equinor’s Marketing, Midstream, and Processing Business area, Norway to WLPGA Board Member.
WLPGA is delighted to welcome both of these key new Board appointments and looks forward to working with them.

Mr Shrikant Madhav Vaidya
Mr Vaidya took over as Chairman of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. 1st July 2020. He is a Chemical Engineer from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. Mr Vaidya has over 34 years of extensive experience in refining & petrochemicals operations. He has had a decade-long association with India’s largest cracker plant – the Panipat Naphtha Cracker Complex, a major driver of Indian Oil’s petrochemicals business – right from the drawing board stage. He is among the select technocrats in the Indian oil & gas industry who are proficient in all facets of refinery-petrochemicals integration, desirable for the sustainability of the oil & gas industry in the long-term.
Mr Vaidya is also a Non-Executive Chairman on the Board of Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (a Subsidiary of Indian Oil), Ratnagiri Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd. and Indian Oiltanking Ltd. (both Joint Venture Companies). He is also a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Petronet LNG Ltd. (a Joint Venture of Indian Oil).

Ms Molly Morris
Ms Morris joined Equinor in 2008 and has for over twenty years worked in the Refining and Oil and Gas downstream marketing and trading industries. Ms Morris assumed her current position as Senior Vice President of Crude, Products and Liquids, on 1st September 2020.
In the timeframe 2008 – 2020, Ms Morris held several trading and management positions for Equinor including VP Products and Liquids trading, Manager Global LPG trading, and Manager of North America LPG and Light Ends trading. Before joining Equinor, she worked for Sunoco, Inc.
