The Fourth International LPG Conference was held in Poland on 16th April 2015.

The Polish LPG Association (POGP) once again had the pleasure of hosting representatives of the LPG commity from all over the world at the 4th International Conference “LPG – Exceptional Energy”.

The conference was held on 16 April 2015 in Warsaw and continued the appreciation that this event has gained over the previous three meetings with the approval and appreciation of the liquefied petroleum gas industry.

The Conference was divided into two main thematic sessions, “Different Markets – Different Challenges” and “Technology, Economy, Environment”.    The conference also saw the presentation of the Polish LPG Association’s 2014 Annual Report.

The main goal of the conference is to provide all guests with an international platform for dialogue, knowledge-exchange, the sharing of experience and the circulation of knowledge on the international and local markets. The event drew over 100 delegates, including many foreign guests, notably the CEO of WLPGA, Mr. James Rockall, and guests from the UK, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Russia and Republic of Bashkiria.

Among guests from Poland there were the representatives of Polish government and public administration.  The opening speech was given by Mr. Jan Wyrowinski, Deputy Marshal of the Polish Senate, who highlighted the advantages of LPG.  The following Session 1, Different Markets – Different Challenges, was presented by James Rockall (WLPGA CEO), Roman Ślagowski (POGP) and Wojciech Mackiewicz (Gazeo).Topics included addressing topics such as the Russian LPG market, the Ukranian market,  the Czech Republic and Slovakia and technical issues.  Presenters included Alan Hayes (Argus Media), Damir Khalmetov (Thompson Reuters), Stanislav Batrachenko (Nadezhda), Jan Novotny (Kralupol), Przemysław Ligenza, (TIO), Piotr Kukuła (TÜV SÜD), Kevan Rock (Greengear Global Ltd, a Cavagna Group Company and Jacek Kaleta (Samat).POGP looks forward to hosting the fifth edition of this successful event in 2016.
