Repsol and Teka will be Promoting the Use of Gas Cookers and Appliances in Homes and Companies
The two companies are joining forces to offer their customers different solutions to renovate their gas appliances.
At present, more than ten million consumers in Spain use some type of butane or propane gas device.
Repsol’s Commercial Director for LP Gas Spain, José Manuel Hernández Carrero, and the Vice-President of TEKA Industrial, Arturo Baldasano, signed a cooperation agreement earlier this year to promote the use of gas cookers and appliances among households and companies on the Iberian Peninsula and in the Balearic Islands. This is the first time that both companies, leaders in each of their sectors, are combining efforts to promote the use of this type of fuel. This agreement will allow TEKA to recommend the use of Repsol propane and butane gas in their product range. Furthermore, it will be offering those who purchase TEKA products the installation of the gas devices in their homes or companies, regardless of the channel through which they may have acquired them, be it purchasing groups, large shopping centres or appliance stores. In order to make this integrated offer, Repsol will be making available to TEKA its network of representatives, including the Official Repsol Gas Services, butane and propane distribution agencies in Spain, and the network of installers. At present, more than 10 million consumers in Spain use some type of butane or propane gas device in their homes and businesses. The signing of this agreement will allow many of these consumers to renovate their old cookers and gas appliances, obtaining the latest generation of products, with greater energy efficiency and better security systems. Likewise, the use of gas leads to greater savings compared with other sources of energy.
