July 2010 – HRH Prince of Asturias to open World LP Gas Forum in Madrid

This year’s World LP Gas Forum in Madrid will be opened by His Royal Highness the Prince of Asturias and promises to be a truly unique event in many ways.

 

This year’s World LP Gas Forum in Madrid will be opened by His Royal Highness the Prince of Asturias and promises to be a truly unique event in many ways. The Forum will consist of a combination of four events in one location: the annual World LP Gas Forum; 2010 AEGPL Congress (European LP Gas Association); the 25th anniversary of the AIGLP Conference (Ibero American LP Gas Association), and the third Global Technology Conference. Conference Programme The World LP Gas Forum will be held at the magnificent Palacio de Congresos de Madrid.  The Ibero American Day (AIGLP Congress) will kick-off the four day programme on 28th September, titled ‘LP Gas – Right Here, Right Now’. The middle two days of the programme will include the World LP Gas Forum Conference, which will officially be opened by several prominent Spanish figures, including His Royal Highness the Prince of Asturias; the Mayor of Madrid, Alberto Ruiz Gallardón; Executive President of Repsol, Antonio Brufau, and Secretary of State for Climate Change, Teresa Ribera.  Also featuring will be the European LP Gas Association’s (AEGPL) conference, titled ‘LP Gas for a Sustainable Future’.  Day four will conclude the programme of events with the Global Technology Conference and the significant side event looking at LP Gas development in sub-Saharan Africa which will take place under the theme of ‘LP Gas: Exceptional Energy for Sub-Saharan Africa’.
