WLPGA Downstream LPG Training Course at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Bahrain on 25th-26th January 2016

STILL TIME TO REGISTER!

WLPGA is running a two day downstream operations and marketing training course in the Middle East on 25th – 26th January 2016 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Bahrain.

If you are running a LPG business in the Middle East region, and you want your staff to have a good understanding of the WLPGA Good Industry Practice Guidelines and the USA NFPA 54 and 58 Codes, this is something you simply cannot afford to miss. The course will focus on LPG Bulk Storage and reticulated (piped) LPG systems.

There is still time to register. Contact Jeffrey Leung on jeffrey.leung@lpgacademy.org for more information and to secure a place for your staff.

The course is the first in what will be a series of WLPGA training initiatives in 2016 across the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

The WLPGA is responsible for the course content and the trainers.

Key highlights:

  • Convenient Middle East regional venue with first rate facilities.
  • Easy access from the international airport to the hotel.
  • Up to date programme with a focus on the NFPA Codes and WLPGA Good Industry Practice Guidelines.
  • Focus on the downstream LPG business with emphasis on bulk LPG storage and the concept of piping LPG from a centralised location.
  • Experienced international LPG trainers (David Tyler & Vic Marinas).
  • Unparalleled networking opportunities with the LPG professionals taking part.
  • Networking dinner for all participants included in course fee.
  • Competitively priced at US$1,500/participant for the two days, including meals/breaks.

World LPG demand continues to grow at around 3-4%/year resulting in not only several million tonnes of additional product entering the market but tens of thousands of new personnel coming into the business each year. These personnel need to be continually trained in best practice in order that the LPG industry’s impressive safety record is not jeopardised. However there are very few reputable training courses available for the LPG industry, especially catering for the downstream sector. Knowledge transfer is one of the core mission statements of the WLPGA.

The WLPGA has built up an impressive library of materials – through the publication of its Guidelines for Good Business Practice and Good Safety Practice, together with its more prescriptive Guides – and these form the basis for this course.

Please also note the WLPGA/Pertamina Bali training course that was postponed in November because of the volcanic activity on Lombok has been re-scheduled to February 22nd – 25th 2016. David Tyler will be joined by Captain Bernardo Herzer, Makoto Arahata and Robert Pope.

Do not miss out on this unique opportunity to train your LPG staff in the very latest ideas and techniques!
