PIEA-WLPGA East Africa LPG Summit, Exhibition & Training Workshop 2023

Registration is now open for the 2023 PIEA and WLPGA Africa LPG Summit, Exhibition and Training Workshop. This three-day programme will be held in person at the Serena Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya under the theme ‘Towards Net Zero with Clean Energy Technologies in Africa’.

First day: LPG Summit: Round table discussions with a focus on cooking, transport, power generation and diversity, featuring renowned international speakers and live exhibition of products by vendors.

Second day: Round table panel discussions to address financing opportunities for clean energy projects, the importance of sound regulatory frameworks and opportunities for wealth creation and employment in Africa Promoting Clean Energy and Clean Technologies and an exhibition of the same to complement the discussions.

Third day: Training workshop will appeal more to marketing, technical and operational personnel. It will focus on the good business practices that are needed to ensure the LPG value chain is not compromised in achieving the goal of a safe and sustainable industry.

The Summit will be led by Wanjiku Manyara, General Manager of the Petroleum Institute of East Africa (PIEA). The training workshop will be led by David Tyler, Director of the WLPGA.
